Marion Kathelein (Runyan) Uselman

Marion Kathelein Runyan Uselman of Clinton, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2014 at 4:42 AM, at the age of 68.  Marion was born on September 9, 1945 to the late Marion (Buster) Runyan and the late Mila Steffy  Runyan Gibson.  On December 10, 1960, Marion married Charles Michael (Mick) Uselman, the love of her life, who passed away on December 6, 2011.  In 1983, Marion and Mick purchased the first convenience store in Clinton which they named Korner Stop.  In 1988, they built a second store in Dana.  In 1990, Marion and Mick bought Gilman’s  Tavern on S. 7th St and named it Mickeys Club House.  In 1996, Marion became manager of the Cigarette Outlet and later retired from there  in November,  2013.  Everyone who knew Marion loved her for her kind heartedness and beautiful personality.  She adored her husband, loved being with her family, friends, and loved  the Lord.  Marion was a great wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  We are all going to miss her greatly.

Surviving Marion are her three daughters Starla (Mike) Jackson of Sandytown; Tina (Tim) Jewell of Owensboro, KY; and Buffy (Jeff) Michalic of Fairview.  Also surviving are the five grandchildren Christie and Micci Burnett; Madison, Hunter, and Ben Michalic; and three great grandchildren Logan along with Hayden and Briley on the way.  Further family members surviving are one sister Marlene (Bill) Graham of Brazil and several nieces and nephews.
