Marilyn M. Summers
Eden – Marilyn Miller Summers, 74, died February 15, 2014 at the McKay-Dee Hospital following a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born on May 11, 1939 in Ogden a daughter of Jack and Melba Jorgensen Miller. She married David R. Summers on April 11, 1958 in Eden. She was raised and lived in Eden all of her life
She was employed at the IRS as a tax examiner. Following her retirement, Marilyn and David spent the past 15 years wintering in Arizona.
Marilyn loved to serve other people. She was unselfish in sharing with others especially helping people with their taxes. She enjoyed quilting and knitting and shared her talents with her family and many friends.
Surviving are her husband, David Summers; three sons and two daughters, Thom (Elise) Summers, Susan (Val) Stoker, Jeff (Murceel) Summers, Julie Christensen, Curt (Debbie) Summers, 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and a sister, Marge Kolander.
