Marilyn L. Johnson, 72, a long time Scottsdale resident and retired retail sales consultant for Goldwater’s department store, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Evelyn Morrissey and is survived by her husband of 53 years, William Johnson, Sr., sons William, Jr., John (Lisa) and James (Tami) Johnson, daughter Debra (Billy) Mesa, sister Ruth Ann (Bill) Spina, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. She will be missed by all as she was a person of faith and inspiration.
