Marilyn June West, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 7, 2022.
Marilyn was born on June 1, 1954 to Kenneth and Ruby Welch in Indianapolis, IN. Marilyn was talented. She was exceptional at drawing and painting, painting her girls rooms with Winnie the Pooh when they were little. Marilyn enjoyed fishing when she was younger, as well as making sure her outfits were always on point and together. She loved puzzles and playing cards. Shopping was her love language, which went hand in hand with how giving she was as a person. She was always putting everyone else first and herself last, helping others whenever she could. She had an incredibly kind heart, and was fiercely loyal and dedicated to her family. As kind as she was, she was also very headstrong and nothing could make her do something she did not want to do.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters Nicole and Misty; her grandchildren James, Katie, Daniel, Steven, Destiny, and Addison; her great-grandchildren Silas and Lilith; and her brother Danny Welch.
Marilyn is preceded in passing by her parents Kenneth and Ruby Welch; her husband Daniel West II; and her sister Barbara Smith.
