Marilyn Faye Porter was born in Sutherland, Nebraska and spent her childhood years in many different towns in the state.
Once married, she and her husband Robert moved to Englewood, Colorado in 1952.
She was a business owner, accountant and she enjoyed traveling to several states and foreign countries.
She also enjoyed gardening and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and her husband. Marilyn is survived by her son Mark (Carla), daughter Renai, sister Beverly, sister-in-law Marymae, 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was a generous, poised, and beautiful person. She cared deeply for her family and friends. She truly enjoyed being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt.
She will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace.
