She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Fezmates, Grand Spinners, Friendly Steppers, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, was a line dancer and two-stepper.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna Newlin, (husband, Dave), Muncie; her son, Danny Moody, (wife, Nancy), Yorktown; her sister, Linda Quirk, (husband, Jack), Muncie; four grandchildren, Mackenzie Newlin, Frankton, Grant Newlin, Muncie, Melissa Moody, Indianapolis, and Michelle Moody, Indianapolis; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved four-legged fur babies, Bert and Toby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-seven years, Carl S. Moody, who died in 2001; three brothers, Minnis Owens, Roger Owens and Gary Owens.
