Marilyn Bassett Scott was born March 25, 1935 in Lovell, Wyoming, the only child of Harlow and Bernice Bassett. She passed away peacefully August 19, 2017 in Boise. She married Ronald L. Scott July 10, 1951 in Meeteetse, Wyoming. Together the couple had 3 children, Debbie, Dennis, and Diana. Ron’s job took the family to live in Wyoming, Nebraska, Utah, & Colorado.
Marilyn was preceded in death by Ron, her husband of 62 years and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Debbie (Kent) Watson of Challis, Idaho, son Dennis (Karen) Scott of Fulshear, Texas and daughter Diana (Rodney) Peterson of Rock Springs, Wyoming, grandchildren Stacy (Jake) Cook, Tyler (Michelle) Watson, Jennifer (Travis) Evans, Ronnie (Traci) Jones, Angela (Chad) Faber, Brian (Theresa) Scott, Brittany (Rick)Hartnett, Brandon Scott and 12 great grandchildren.
