Marilyn Avanelle Bever, 78, of Rowlesburg passed away peacefully at home with loving family by her side.
She was born August 17, 1942, in Rowlesburg, a daughter of the late Oscar and Thelma Golf Shaffer.
Marilyn was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was a homemaker, enjoyed riding through the streets of Rowlesburg and spending time with her grandchildren. She attended the Rowlesburg Baptist Church.
Marilyn is survived by her two daughters, Crystal Arbogast of Kingwood and Carolyn Bray and companion, Bryan Hemerick of Rowlesburg; two sons, Bradley Barry and wife Wendy of Rowlesburg and David Bever and wife Pamela of Chillicothe OH; two brothers, Robert Shaffer and Donald Shaffer both of Rowlesburg; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bradley J. Bever; one sister and two brothers.
