Marija Nenius, 89, of Three Oaks, Michigan and formerly of Union Pier, Michigan, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family.Marija was born February 17, 1921 in Kybartai, Lithuania to Arturas and Konstancia (Sensikaite) Hube. Marija married Joseph Milauskas in Lithuania on February 4, 1940, who preceded her in death in the late 1940’s.

She then moved to America in 1952, and married Frank Nenius on May 17, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. Frank preceded her in deathMarija worked at the Jewish Federation in Chicago where she held many positions. Marija moved to Union Pier in 1979 where she enjoyed her many hobbies of sewing, knitting, picking berries, gardening and loved a good game of pinochle. Marija was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Rosary Society in New Buffalo and attended St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Three Oaks.

Survivors include her children; Theresa Miliauskas Campagna, Three Oaks, Michigan; Anthony Romas Miliauskas, Niles, Michigan; and Vida (Raymond) Giniotis, Three Oaks; grandchildren Samuel (Tracy) Campagna, Andrea Campagna, Constance (John) Weinert, Mary (Richard) Allison, Charles (Rebecca) Freitag, Joseph (Angela) Miliauskas, Kimberly Miliauskas, Tracey Miliauskas, Mark Miliauskas, Amy Miliauskas; 16 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren; and her sister Ona (Al) Houghton of Gulfport, Florida. Marija was preceded in death by her son Joseph “Vic” Miliauskas and her daughter Mary “Laima” Freitag.
