She was born August 31, 1939 in Bay City. Marie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Coral, FL and a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Amelith. She retired from Ameritech and was very active in her church.She is survived by her husband of fifty five years Howard G. Knoerr, three children; Rodney H. and Beth Knoerr of Marshall, MI, Todd H. and Sherry Knoerr of Midland and Vicki M. and Scott LeVasseur of Sanford, eight grandchildren; Rodney(Danielle), Kari(Zach), Kristi (Jon), Reid (Alex), Christian, Janaye (Mike), Nick (Kayleigh) and Kaylee four great grandchildren; Calvin, Caleb, Lexi and Kaden; brother; Richard Wirsing , sister-in-law; Clara Wirsing, and many other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law nieces, nephews and friends.
