Mrs. Marie Morgan. Bell, age 76, widow of Edwin E. Bell departed this life on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at MUSC Hospital in Charleston, SC. She was born on September 23, 1946, in McCormick, SC. She was the daughter of the late Edith M. Moore and Charlie Morgan.

Marie was a member of Shiloh A.M.E. Church in McCormick, SC. She attended McCormick County Schools and worked in Textiles before retirement.

Marie was also proceeded in death by a daughter, Shawnon Renae Dansby, her sister, Annie L. Anderson; three brothers, James Morgan, George Morgan, and Tom Morgan and her stepfather, Robert E. Moore.

Marie  leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, James E. Bell of the home and Eugene (Sarah) Bell of Columbia, SC; one daughter, Sylvia (Ernest) Callaham of McCormick, SC; a special son-in-law, Kurt (Kendra) Dansby of McCormick, SC; three sisters, Barbara (Willie Lee) Morgan and Wendy (Tommie) Gary, both of McCormick, SC and Latonya (Desmond) Wideman of Anderson, SC; three brothers, Charlie (Brenda) Morgan Jr. of Abbeville, SC, Raymond Morgan of McCormick, SC and Robert Lee Morgan of Greenwood, SC; three step-sisters, Patricia King of McCormick, SC, Melissa Moore of Greenwood, SC and Carolyn Moore of Columbia, SC; two step-brothers, Robert Moore Jr. and Leon Moore both  of McCormick, SC; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, a lifetime friend and neighbor, Elizabeth Polly and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
