Mrs. Lourdes Etienne-Pierre was born at Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti, on June 23, 1942, from Mr. and Mrs. Noder Gabriel, both departed.

Marie Lourdes was remarkably beautiful. She grew and stayed as such. Her external look was the image of her inner beauty. She was very courteous, polite, friendly, honest. She had the love and respect of her surroundings

She was a distinguished wife, an exceptional mother, a tolerant grandmother, and, for everyone else a well coveted and appreciated friend.

At the age of 22, she married her husband Maxius Pierre. From this union, 4 children were born; Came-Rose, Gregoire, Junie et Merlin

Mindful of her responsibilities, she was in the trading business. That’s how she took care of her family. However, 1997, Through one of her brothers, Joanem Gabriel, she immigrated to the United States, where she resided ‘til her passing. There, not only, she lived happily, not only, she was able to care for her children, but also, she had helped many of her neighbors.

Sadly, for us here today, and many others, at 2:51 in the afternoon of January 26, 2022, at the East Orange General Hospital, she left us. She rendered her soul. She said goodbye.

This fallen limb had left behind to carry the torch:

Her children: Mme Guimet Cham, born Came-Rose Pierre, Grégoire Pierre, Mme Chrismas Dorilas, born Junie Pierre and finally Merlin Pierre.

Her grandchildren:  Rose Kerline, Wood et Mark cham; Samendjy Pierre; Christ and Dubens Dorilas; Marie Beldina and, Miloudjy Pierre.

The fate of man on this earth is that of a soldier, and his days are those of a mercenary. Job chapter 7: 1.

Once again, the death of our beloved Sister reminds us, that we are pilgrims on this earth. All our days are already counted. Let’s be wise. Let’s reject all evil ways. Let us renounce to ourselves, and then, let’s live a life worthy of God, our Maker.
