Marie Louise Halstead, 104, of Terre Haute, passed away on August 3, 2020 with family by her side in her daughter’s home in West Terre Haute. Marie was born on April 13, 1916 in Terre Haute to Harry Kunz and Margreen Reese Kunz. On August 19, 1939 she married Walter “Punk” Halstead, who preceded her in death on December 21, 1972. Marie is survived by her daughter Diana Selvia (Bill); three grandchildren, Lauri Fritz (Chris), Greg Selvia (Trudy), and Kristen Butler (Steve); four great-grandchildren, Brand Selvia, Gabrielle Selvia, Creed Fritz, and Christopher Fritz; sister Virginia Hamelmann; several nieces and nephews as well as a special little friend Haisley. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and great-granddaughter Rae-Ann Fritz.
