Marie L. (Saulnier) Riley, of Stoughton, passed away on Wednesday February 23, 2005 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was 86 years old. She was the beloved wife of Joseph P. Riley.

Born September 17, 1918 in “Saulnierville” Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Leone (Theriault) Saulnier.

She attended East Boston Public Schools and was also a graduate of East Boston High School.

She was a Homemaker and enjoyed her family very much.

She was formerly employed by Simmons College in Boston as a waitress, Kane’s Furniture in Cambridge as an Office Manager and at the former Stoughton Laundry Company as a Bookkeeper.

She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

She is also survived by her children: Joseph P. Riley Jr. and his wife Beverly of Sandwich,MA., Kevin R. Riley of East Bridgewater,MA. Paul R. Riley and his wife Denise of Halifax,MA. Barbara M. Killgoar and her husband Paul of Livonia,Michigan, Jean M. Cassidy and her husband Brian Of Bridgewater, brother Edward Doucette and his wife Gloria of Brockton,MA. her sister Loretta M. Saulnier of Cambridge,MA, eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
