She is survived by one son; Stephen (JoAnn) Hemphill, one daughter; Elizabeth (Benny) Hemphill Devaney, one brother; Farris (Maggie) Highsmith, two sisters; Marsha Highsmith (Feagin) Hayslip and Patricia Highsmith (Tommy) Grantham, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
