Marie J Kincaid was born Marie Dilley in Portland, Oregon March 2, 1927 and passed away May 5th after her family said goodbye.

Marie was raised in the logging camps of Oregon where her father was a logger and her mother a camp cook. She attended Convent School in Seattle and was first in her family to go to college.  It was there, while obtaining a teaching degree, she met the light of her life, a young veteran named Dale Kincaid.  They married in 1950 and lived a great love story til his passing three years ago.

She lived in many places in the West, moving with her husband’s job and settling in Littleton.
Marie and Dale sacrificed a great deal to get their children good educations.

Not shy in expressing her opinions, Marie was an excellent debater in topics she cared about and a firm believer in a value driven life.  When Dale retired they travelled extensively and also enjoyed learning experiences with the Elder Hostel program.
She was a good woman, devoted wife, excellent mother and happy grandma and great grandma.

She will be missed and always remembered.

She is survived by her three children: Patrick, (Jesper), Donald and Katie,( Bill); three grandchildren, Kelli, Amy and Conor and two great grandchildren, Carter and Graham.
