Marie G. (Gilman) Taylor, 98 of Newington, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Jack Edward Taylor for 39 years. Born in Newton, MA, daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Houghton) Gilman, she retired from Jones and Lamson Machine Tool of Springfield, Vermont, and spent 30 years of retirement with Jack, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed their trip to Alaska in their motor home. Vermont was ‘home’, but in retirement, Bradenton, Florida, became a second home. In her early years with Jack she enjoyed knitting, making several beautiful afghans for others as gifts, as well as beautiful sweaters for her young grandsons.
