Marie Frances Hagemiller Sullivan died October 27, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Marie worked as a study hall supervisor at Richardson High School from 1962 until retirement in 1973. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Donald Sullivan, whom she married in 1939. Marie was born January 18, 1915 in Newark, NJ, the only child of Herman Carl and Margaret Mary (Murphy) Hagemiller. Marie graduated from Newark’s St. Vincent’s Academy in 1933 and from Essex County (NJ) Junior College in 1935. She first moved to Dallas from Newark in 1946 and returned in 1962 after living in New Orleans from 1950 – 1962. Marie was a long-active member of the Lake Highlands Book Review Club and AARP Chapter 3881. She was a founding parishioner of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and a member of Catholic Daughters of Americas – Court Mary Immaculate #1719. She is survived by her sons Thomas A. Sullivan of Dallas and John D. Sullivan of Mukilteo, WA; daughter-in-law Holly and grandson Paul A. Sullivan of Mukilteo, WA.
