Marie Channell Burroughs, age 90 of Buhl, AL; passed away peacefully at her home on June 27, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gesner C. Burroughs; her parents, Elbert and Viola Mae Channell; her brothers, Elbert Bud and A. F. “Sam” Channell; and her sisters, Betty Sue Kelly and Bernice Watson.
She is survived by her children, Betty Jean (Richard) White of Huntsville; David G. (Lynn) Burroughs of Buhl; Sara Lynn (Lynn) Denson of Buhl; Jimmy Ray Burroughs of Gordo; Angie Burroughs Clark of Buhl; and Jeffery Scott (Lori) Burroughs of Buhl. Her sister Nona Faye Connell of Buhl. Her grandchildren, Jonathan R. White; Matthew D. (Karen) Burroughs; John D.(Amy) Clark; Christopher M. (Kayla) Clark; Kala M. (Joshua) Hill; Reece S. Burroughs; and William S. Burroughs. Great-grandchildren, Mary Camden, Sadie C. and Berkley Clark; Millie Marie, and Deacon Hill; and Amelia Rose Burroughs.
