She was born July 12, 1926 in Burkesville, Kentucky, and resided in Anderson most of her life. Marie had worked in retail at The Towne Shoppe, Gates Department Store and The Unique Shop. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hoover of Anderson; sister, Mary Preusz of Pasadena, California; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell & Ola Janes Walker and sister, Anna Lee Humphrey. Cremation will take place.
