Miss Marie C. Betzig, age 86, of Milford, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in Whitney Manor, Hamden. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Rose Riley Betzig, was born on August 21, 1919 in the Bronx, NY, and lived most of her life in the Bronx before moving to Milford 20 years ago. Marie was a former CBS Executive. She was the beloved aunt of James W. Betzig and his wife Andrea, Roseanne Meyer and her husband Sky, all of Orange, and Linda Germain and her husband Raymond of Wallingford, great-aunt of James A. Betzig of Milford, Melissa DeVellis and her husband Robert of Easton, Thomas Betzig and his wife Michele of Orange, Michael Meyer and his wife MaryJane of Clinton, William Meyer of Orange, and Christine and Brian Germain of Wallingford. She also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Virginia Betzig of Milford and many great great nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by two brothers, Walter and Louis Betzig and two sisters, Margaret Rose and Rose Marie Betzig.
