Marie A. Koster, nee Van Der Giessen, age 89, of South Holland, IL passed away October 20, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Koster; loving mother of James (Mary) Koster and Dennis (Jean) Koster; devoted grandmother of Grant (Dana) Koster, Kyla (Neil) Mahoney, Christine (Craig) Wories, Matthew (Heidi) Koster, and Lindsey (Dan) Romito and great-grandmother of Landon, Hudson, Laila, Mia, Avery, Hadley, and Dominic; dear sister of Gertrude Rietveld, Joanne Scheeringa, and the late Henry Van Der Giessen.
Mrs. Koster was a member of First Reformed Church of South Holland, and a volunteer for 35 years at the Holland Home Gift and Coffee Shop and Rest Haven South.
