Marian McMichael Ratterree, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away on March 27, 2018 after living a long and full life. Marian was born on March 8, 1929, and grew up in Nokesville, VA. She is preceded in death by her parents Annie Hooe McMichael and Francis Earle McMichael, her siblings Thomas A. McMichael, Marguerite M. Fountain, Arlene M. Lynch, Elizabeth McMichael, Dorothy M. Clatterbuck, and her son Michael Ratterree. She is survived by her sister Frances M. Marrett (Hal), and her granddaughters Frances Angell and Sharon Ratterree. In addition, she is survived by four generations of numerous nieces and nephews. Marian loved to travel, whether to Europe or on a nearby day trip. One of her favorite adventures was touring Ireland and Scotland. Reading and watching movies were also cherished pastimes.
