Marian L. (Yancey) Weaver, 84, of Fortville, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born May 8, 1928 in Noblesville to the late Robert and Della (Steward) Yancey. Marian attended Noblesville High School and was a lifelong homemaker and devoted to her family.
She is survived by her daughters: Linda A. Virgin and Brenda M. (Mike) Eastes, both of Fortville; son Rick D. Weaver of Fortville; sister Maxine Metsker of Noblesville; and brothers Harold (Veneta) Yancey and Wayne (Peggy) Yancey, both of Noblesville; sister Edith Tate of Bloomington; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband Vernon D. Weaver; brother Edgar E. Yancey; and sisters Ruth Ammerman and Kate Fouch.
