Maria Soccoro Perez Rodriguez, 79, of Bethlehem died on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the companion of Gregory Diaz and wife of the late Benjamin Perez Sr. Born on December 22, 1935 in Patillas, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Liborio and Eppifania Maura Rodriguez. Before retiring, Maria worked as a seamstress at various garment factories in the area. Maria is survived by her children, Marta Perez of Allentown; Shirley Perez of Bethlehem; Rosemary Rosado of Bethlehem; Martin Perez of Ontario, Canada; Lorenzo Perez of NY; Many grandchildren; sisters, Nora and Carmeniris. She was predeceased by son, Benjamin Perez Jr.
