Maria Santangelo, 102, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 9th. She was the beloved wife of the late Renato Santangelo.
Born in Portici, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Gennaro and Antonietta (Faiella) Calafiore.
Mrs.She is survived by a son, Steven Santangelo and his wife Meredith; a grandson, Nicholas Santangelo and his wife Samantha, a sister Teresa Linardo and her children Lauretta and Peter; and many other nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Anna Monte, Pietro Calafiore and Pasquale Calafiore.
