Maria Rosarinha (Vieira) Medeiros a longtime resident of Stoughton passed away after a prolonged illness on Thursday November 19, 2015. She was 76 years old and the beloved wife of over 51 years to Jaime’ P. Medeiros of Stoughton. She was also the loving mother to her sons, Carlos A. Medeiros and his wife Anita M.of Brockton and Manuel A. “Tony” Medeiros and his wife Connie of Taunton. Maria was also the cherished grandmother to Christopher S. Medeiros, Kevin M. Medeiros and Alexander James Medeiros all of Taunton and the loving sister to Joao’ Vieira and wife Eduarda of Stoughton, Maria Henriques and her late husband Gilberto of Stoughton, Antonio Manuel Vieira of San Miguel, Azores, Portugal ,Georgina Vincente of San Miguel, Azores, Portugal and also the late Maria Estrella Ponte’.
Born September 18, 1939 in San Miguel, Azores, Portugal, Maria was a daughter to the late Manuel Vieira and Virginia (Frutuoso) Vieira. She was employed for several years as a factory worker for the former Quality Craft Engineering Company in Stoughton.
