Maria Maratea, 84, of 200 Oak St., West Haven passed away Saturday December 24, 2011 at St. Raphael’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Peter Maratea. Mother of Vivian (George) Glynn and Alice (Michael) Brocek. Grandmother of Christopher Glynn and William Hackley III. Great Grandmother of Jacob Hackley, Katelyn and Christopher Glynn. Sister of Augustine Ruotolo, Rosemary McCleary,Margaret Mohr, Julia Ferrado, ½ sister Iva Weaver and the late Antoinette Perrelli. Also survived by 20 nieces and nephews. Maria loved to work with the elderly and volunteered at various local health care centers.
