Maria Zullo, 85, a long time resident of Norwalk,Ct died peacefully on
July20,2011. Born in Bridgeport,Ct on April 26,1926 to the late
Salvatore and Rosaria Mezzo. She was predeceased by her husband Fred
Zullo Sr., her beloved sisters Phyllis Kaminski and Annie Everts and
her grandson Louis Caruso. She is survived by her 5 children and their
respective spouses,Mark and Chris Zullo of Norwalk, Fred and Stacy
Zullo of Milford, Debbie and Joe Nunes of Milford, Loraine and Bob
Harvey, Larry and Caroline Zullo, all now residing in Florida,her
brother Anthony Mezzo of Stratford, 11 grandchildren and 11 great
grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister-in laws,
brother- in -laws and several nieces and nephews. Mary had previously
been employed by the Bigalow Tea Company for 25 years. Many will
remember Mary for her gracious hospitality, her good humor, and her
AMAZING Italian cookies. Her most precious gift was her generous and
loving spirit. Mary’s door and heart were always wide open. If you
listen carefully you will hear her singing a song just for you!
