Maria D. Vega, age 93, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2021, surrounded by her family in her last moments. She was born November 29, 1927, in Mercedes, Texas. Maria was a lifetime resident of Harlingen. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Raul D. Vega; and daughters Bertha Vega and Belinda Garcia.
She leaves behind two sons, Raul D. Vega Jr. and Ronnie Vega. She also leaves her five grandchildren, Tania Vega, Patricia Vega, Armando Garcia Jr., Robert Garcia and Justin Garcia; as well as 8 great grandchildren.
She is loved by her sons and grandchildren who will miss her tremendously and will cherish memories of her. Her light will be carried on in them.
