Margueritte Harris Shacklette, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully February 16, 2013 surrounded by her devoted family. She was a native of Columbia, KY, and the daughter of the late W.E. “Pete” and Creel Harris. Mrs. Shacklette received her degree in education from Campbellsville University, Campbellsville, KY and taught in Hardin County Kentucky schools for several years. She then taught at Woodmore Elementary and Brainerd Junior High School, Chattanooga from 1965-1972.
