Boehm1938~2021Marguerite (nee Zangrando) age 83 of West Chester, PA passed away on November 21, 2021Marguerite was born in January 1938 to Fiora and Mario Zangrando in Hoboken, N.J. and was raised on the family’s chicken farm. She attended Hampton Elementary School and North Hunterdon Regional High School, followed by Cedar Crest College and Churchman’s Business College. In 1959 she married George Boehm and they had 2 children together Theodore G., and Fiora Moyer.Marguerite was active in the Junior Women’s Club participating in many drama productions. Later, the family moved to Lancaster, PA where she joined the Red Rose chapter of the Sweet Adeline’s acapella singing group and would become President and show chairperson, they participated in their Region 19 Chapter competition for advancement to the international level. In the 80’s Marguerite transferred to the 100 member Harrisburg Sweet Adeline Chapter, where she also became President and show chairperson. This chapter also won the Region 19 competition several times to participate in the international level, finishing in the top 10 several times.Later in life, Marguerite was a dedicated “KiKi” (grandmom) to her 2 grandsons Dante and Maximo. She made them her number one priority. One a recent graduate of Brown University and the other in Medical School. Her joys were cooking, decorating, singing with the church choir, and spending time at her beach also was a member of several clubs, including the book club, the bridge club and an antique study group. Survived by her beloved husband of 62 yrs. George H., her cherished children, Theodore “Ted” Boehm and Fiora Moyer (Philip); her two adoring grandchildren Dante and Maximo Moyer; and many dear friends.
