Marguerite Krause Bowman of Boerne was born July 30, 1922 in Leon Springs, TX to Max and Adele Krause. She passed away August 8, 2012 at the age of 90. Marguerite was preceded in death by “her one and only love of 62 years” John “Johnny” Bowman. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church Boerne for 68 years and a life member of the United Methodist Women. She was selected as one of the Hundred Women in Mission of the Southwest Texas Conference of United Methodist Women at the Centennial Celebration in 1986. She was a life Member and Past Matron of Boerne Chapter #200 Order of the Eastern Star and Past Mother Advisor of The Order of Rainbow for Girls. She was 15 year Bluebird Volunteer at the Methodist Hospital, volunteered for over 20 years at Family Services of Boerne, was very active in many associations in the Boerne Community. She was a loving and very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and considered family as her number one priority. She is survived by her son, Douglas Wayne Bowman, Sr. and his wife, Carolyn of Fredericksburg, TX; daughter, Janice Bowman Huebner and her husband, Barney of Boerne, TX; her grandchildren, Douglas Wayne Bowman, Jr. and his wife, Cheryl of Boerne, TX, Kimberly Ann Bowman of Boerne, TX, Lance Thomas Wright and his wife, Sheri of Lawton, OK; Dawn Wright Johnson of Boerne, TX and Robert Johnson of Schertz, TX, Jana Deanne Komarosky and her husband, James “Jimi” of Denver, Colorado. Step-grandchildren, Nicole, Casey, Brandon, and Jason Huebner; great grandchildren, Justin Michael Bowman, Kellie Ann Solis, Joshua Lance Wright, Conner Elizabeth Wright, Lauren Janee Johnson, Lillie Alyse Wright, John “Johnny” David James Komarosky, Jacob Thomas Wright; and 10 step great grandchildren.
