Marguerite (Faust) Grant passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017. She turned 95 on December 6, 2016. Marguerite was born in Delta, Utah, to Lena Frank and James Ackerly Faust on December 6, 1921. Her mother passed away when Marguerite was 2 years old and she has no memories of her. She was very much looking forward to being with her mother. Her father never remarried. Marguerite was the joy and focus of his life. Marguerite was a graduate of the University of Utah in Economics. She married Reed Grant from Sandy, Utah, on May 21, 1945. Leaving their family roots in Utah, Reed was transferred to Dallas in 1955 by Equitable Life Insurance. They lived in Richardson and resided there the rest of her life. She is survived by her 5 children: Gary Lee (Carolyn) of Phoenix, AZ; David Chadley (Jeanne) of Dallas, TX; Roger Jaymer (Lori) of Pasadena, CA; Julianne of Richardson, TX; and Rebecca Shamo (Mike) of Phoenix, AZ. To the end of her days, she kept a current list of her grandchildren (23) and her great-grandchildren (62) as she prayed for them daily by name. She was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
