Margot Mittelman, 80 of Framingham, MA, formerly of Middletown, CT, died as a result of complications from a heart attack on November 5, 2007 after several months stay at the Mary Ann Morse Rehabilitation Center in Natick, MA.
Born in Berlin, Germany, she was the only child of Jacob and Lea Krinksy and at the age of 7 her family moved to Bridgeport, CT where she attended her primary school grades. Shortly before becoming a teenager, her family relocated to West Hartford, CT. where Margot graduated from Hall High School and then the University of Connecticut at Storrs. She worked for the Hartford National Bank & Trust Co, as well as, G. Fox & Co. Later on she was trained to be travel agent and worked for Travels and then Advantage Travel, both located in Middletown. Margot was a member of Sisterhood. and life member of Hadassah.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Attorney Irwin D. Mittelman, formerly of Middletown, and her daughter, Sharon Murphy, son-in-law Francis E. Murphy III, Deputy Fire Chief of the Cambridge, MA Fire Department, and grandchildren, who she adored, Brian, Douglas and Leah Murphy, all of Natick, MA. Margot is also survived by her many new friends at the Birch Unit of the Mary Ann Morse Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Margot is the mother of the late Judith Mittelman of Durham, NC.
