Margery Lucille Oldham, age 87 of Midland, died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at MyMichigan Health in Midland. The daughter of the late George and Doris (Marsh) Popps was born September 27, 1934 in Mio. On February 23, 1957 she married James Oldham in Midland. They spent 56 years together before his death in 2013.
Margery enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Spending time at the family cabin in Mio was very important to her. Most of all, she loved her family and loved caring for her great granddaughter.
Surviving are her children, Brian Oldham and Jan Abbe of Midland, Deborah Dorsey; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Raymond Popps of Appleton, WI; and her dear friend, Marty Gordert of Midland.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margery was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Sage; brother, Russell Popps; and sisters, Kay Popps and Wonita Fritz.
