Margarette Kathleen Cwynar, born in Marfrance, West Virginia, on July 14, 1923, was peacefully received into the Lord’s hands and reunited with her husband, Ted, on July 30, 2011, after four years of loving care by Adriana Laslo at the Hillside Assisted Living Home. She modeled for Ford Agency, flew bi-planes, and drove demolition derby cars for fun. Margarette worked for National Circulating Company during which time she met and stole Ted’s heart; they were married May 23, 1945. For the first 16 years, Margarette and Ted worked and traveled together and had two beautiful children. In 1961, they moved to Cody, Wyoming where they were successful owners of their cattle ranch and Buffalo Bill Cocktail Lounge. They found residence in 1964 in Tucson, Arizona where they owned and operated the famous Sneaky Pete’s Steakhouse. Over the next eighteen years they worked side by side welcoming and entertaining celebrities and creating a desirable hot spot for the local community. Margarette and Ted retired, and in 2004 moved to the Phoenix area to be closer to family. Margarette Cwynar is survived by her two children Mark and partner Jennifer, Marcie and husband Steve; two grandchildren, Leija and husband Clint, Richard and spouse Aries; and four great-grandchildren Joey, Alexis, Savannah, and Holden.
