Margaret Trejo, 91, longtime Silver City resident passed away early Saturday morning March 31, 2012 at Gila Regional Medical Center.
Margaret was born October 17, 1920 in Miami, AZ to Juan Paco and Catalina Gaxiola. She moved to Grant County from Douglas, Arizona as a teenager and was a devoted homemaker.
Survivors include 3 sons, Ruben Madrid and wife Lucy of Silver City, Arthur Madrid and wife Gracie of Stockton, CA and Raul Trejo and wife Darlene of Dixon, CA; a daughter, Gilda Trejo-Rodriguez and husband George Rodriguez of El Paso, TX; 5 grandchildren: Rita Trejo-Ledesma, Nick Trejo, Sylvia Madrid and Emily Rodriguez and Marisa Rodriguez. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Enrique J. Trejo, sister, Catalina Beauregard and brother, Ruben Paco.
