She was the mother of Obie, Kathy and Meg, grandmother to Bill, Kim, Jen, Kathy, Michael, Matthew, Stephen and a great grandmother of ten. She was the compass that guided her family. Peg had a brilliant mind, caring spirit and a grace recognized by all who knew her. Raising her family in Springfield, Delaware County, Peg worked for General Electric Re-entry as a computer programmer. Her career, unusual for a women given the times, was undertaken out of necessity to support her family but served as an example for her children and grandchildren. In times of crisis, Peg was the calm in the storm, anchoring the family assuring them that “this too shall pass.” Her brilliance never overshadowed her creative mind or genuine spirit, Peg is remembered for her care and concern for was born on January 28, 1927 and passed on January 14, 2018. We are forever grateful that we had the opportunity to call her Mom, Nana, sister and friend.
