Margaret May Teter
Margaret May Teter, 80, of Terra Alta, formerly of Newburg, died Monday, September 26, 2016 at Preston Memorial Hospital.
Margaret was born December 5, 1935, in Rowlesburg, a daughter of the late Raymond and Geneva Wagner.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, mowing grass, weed eating and loved canning.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Charles J. Teter; her son, Charles D. Teter and companion, Virginia L. Smith of Terra Alta, whom she lived with the last three years after her stroke; her daughter, Elma Braham and husband, David of Reedsville; her granddaughters, Chastity Schmidl and husband, Shawn of Morgantown. Ashley Teter of Kingwood, Melissa Dalton and Shannon Tasker, both of Reedsville; her grandson, Byron Knotts of Reedsville; two great granddaughters, Taylor Hoff Teter of Kingwood and Sierra Dalton of Reedsville; two great grandsons, Jacob Dalton and Devyn Knotts, both of Reedsville and one great- great- granddaughter, Jayda Dalton of Reedsville; two sisters, Barbara Dillsworth and Alice Hovatter, both of Terra Alta and a brother, Junior Wagner of Masontown.
She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter and two brothers, Ralph and Donald Wagner.
