Margaret “Marge” Mary Walsh (nee McDermott)  Marge Walsh was born September 17, 1955 in Chicago.  She died of ovarian and brain cancer on January 16, 2016 with her loving family by her side.  Marge was the beloved wife for over 38 years to Dr. Donald W. Walsh, (Retired CFD Chief), loving mother of Meghann (David) Haisch, Maureen (John) Orrico, Michelle (Michael) Kendall, Sean (Lisa) Walsh and Jonathan (Jessie) Walsh; loving grandmother of Marina and Lillyanna Orrico, Donald, Maureen and Jacob Haisch; Maeve, Fiona and Kellen Kendall; Adrianna and Savanna Walsh.  She was the loving sister, aunt, cousin and Godmother to the Walsh, McDermott and Carr Families.  Loving FRG U.S. Army “Mom” of the 933rd MP Company in Chicago, Illinois; and close friend to many world-wide.  Marge was a graduate of DePaul University, worked for Catholic Charities, The Society of St. Vincent DePaul, Portage Park Chamber of Commerce, the US Army National Guard Bureau Family Program, Life Fitness, and Oakton Community College during her 40-year professional careers and at the same time raising five children and being a grandmother of ten.  Marge is the founder of the Fellowship of Hope – Gynecological Cancer Awareness organization associated with Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.
