Margaret M. Heser, 98 of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Centralia Manor with her children by her side.

She was born December 22, 1918 in Ironwood, Michigan, daughter of Steve Vranich and Barbara (Biondich) Vranich. She married Edwin W. Heser on March 9, 1944 at St. Mary’s Rectory in Centralia and he preceded her in death in 2007.

Margaret is survived by a son: Don Heser and wife Doni of Centralia; a daughter: Cheryl Myers of Centralia; three grandchildren: Lindsay Handyside and husband Jason of Decatur, Casey Heser and wife Heidi of Troy, and Lucas Heser and wife Chantel of Webster Grove, Missouri; four great-grandchildren: Kennedy, Evan, Claire and Colton; two brothers: John Vranich of Milledgeville and Frank Vranich and wife Helen of Milledgeville; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son: Gary Steven Heser, a son-in-law: Bob Myers, a brother: Steve Vranich, and a sister: Anne Jorgensen.

Margaret was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Church in Centralia. She enjoyed embroidering. Margaret and her husband, Edwin, started Heser’s Appliance in 1964 and she was the bookkeeper until she retired. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.
