Margaret “Maggie” M.

She was born April 24, 1917, in Rome, a daughter of the late Canio and Catherine Longo Sabia, and educated in Rome schools. Margaret was united in marriage to Quintus Deily on August 24, 1940 in Rome; he died in 1969. She formerly worked at the Triangle Shoe Store and later at the Church of St. John the Baptist rectory. She was a member of the Church of St. John the Baptist.

Maggie enjoyed cooking for her family; everyone loved her sauce and meatballs. She also loved crocheting and playing Bingo, and was known for playing “500 Rummy”, and constantly beating all her family at the game.

Margaret is survived by two sisters, Angeline Natalie of Enon, OH, and Delores Fontaine of Utica; a son, Quintus Deily of Florida; granddaughters, Deniece Zeller andher husband Gary, and Jodie Corigliano and her husband, James; 4 great grandchildren; a great great grandchild, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary K. Mercurio; sisters and brothers, Nellie Tardbania, Minnie Vecchio and Josephine Perfetti, Dan Sabia and Paul Sabia.
