Margaret Louise “Peg” Moss, 89, of Alterra Sterling House of South Bend (formerly of Battle Creek, MI) passed away at 5:00am Tuesday, December 26, 2006 in Regency Place of South Bend.
She was born on February 1, 1917 to the late E. Robert and Hazel Agnes (Stiles) Robinson in Grand Rapids, MI. Peg has lived in South Bend for the past 8 years, coming from Battle Creek, MI, where she had lived most of her life.
Mrs. Moss retired in October 1982 from Clark Equipment Company in Battle Creek, MI, after 23 years of employment.
In August of 1941, as Margaret Louise Robinson, she married H.M. Douglas Moss in St. Philip’s Catholic Church, Battle Creek, MI. He died on October 3, 1958.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia A. Burrer of Fairfield Glade, TN; one son, Rev. Robert Moss, C.S.C. of Notre Dame, IN; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three nieces; one cousin; and several dear friends.
Mrs. Moss was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish in White Pigeon, MI.
