Margaret Lee Smith
Margaret Lee Smith, 93, of Kingwood, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Pine Ridge with family by her side.
She was born December 31, 1922, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Archibald and Virginia Elizabeth Mollar Shaw.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Kingwood and recently attended the Kingwood Baptist Church. She worked as a clerk at the Schwab Drug Store and the Plaza Drug. She enjoyed family, solitaire and feeding her birds. She was a Mountaineer fan, took care of her nieces and nephews and was known as Aunt Marg to a lot of people.
He is survived by her children, Richard Smith and wife, Brenda of Kingwood, Phyllis Ryan of Shinnston, Rita McNair and husband, Ed of Kingwood; her sister, Louise Miller of Mobile, AL; a nephew, Scott Harvey and wife, Tina; three nieces, Mary Butler and husband, Bob, Marcy Matherne and Sharon Forman and husband, Bill; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, five great nephews and nieces, four great great nephews and nieces.
She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Smith and a sister, Susan Harvey.
