Margaret Laverne Beaucham Jones died June 11, 2008 at Newnan Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Carroll County, she was born July 15, 1915 and was the daughter of the late Ajah and Mary Lou Cox Beaucham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ferman “Red” Jones; brothers Joe and Raymond Beaucham. Mrs. Jones was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
She had been employed by The Bibb Company prior to her retirement. She is survived by her daughters Frances Fincher and Joann (and husband James) McMichael; sister Alma Massey of Riverdale, and a brother Dewy Beaucham of North Carolina. Her grandchildren are Susan (Winford) Minix, David (Linda) Thompson, Sherry (Chuck) Goodson, Cindy Ford, Beverly Rothwell and Carol Ann McMichael. Her great grandchildren are Lee Durrough, Shane Durrough, Missy Watkins, Meagan Rothwell, Kevin, Chasity, and Tiffany Evans, Trent, Emily and Chip Goodson. Her great great grandchildren are Kelsi Durrough, Coty Durrough, Brittany Loveless and Taylor Watkins.
