Margaret L. Wilkinson, 90, of Brighton, passed away April 21, 2012. She was born June 10, 1921 in Des Moines, IA to William McClish and Lillie Scurlock. She graduated from West High School in Des Moines and continued her education in Denver, becoming a LPN. Margaret married Robert Wilkinson in Clayton, MO on October 9, 1940.
From 1962-1984, Margaret lived in Westminster. She then spent five years in Arizona and five years in Florida and then settled in Brighton in 1994, where she has lived since. She worked in the Emergency Room as a LPN at Presbyterian-St. Lukes Hospital in Denver for many years. She loved jewelry and loved taking trips through the mountains.
Margaret is survived by her children, Robert Wilkinson of Avon, Rick Wilkinson of Brighton, Gloria Beasley of San Francisco, CA and Gregory Wilkinson of Tucson, AZ; brother, Richard McClish of Des Moines, IA; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and her parents.
