Margaret L. “Peg” (Robinson) Nielsen, 101, of Manchester, loving and devoted wife of the late Karl A. Nielsen peacefully passed away at home on Monday, June 13, 2016. She was born on August 7, 1914 in Manchester daughter of the late John and Christina (McDowell) Robinson. Peg attended local schools, was a graduate of Manchester High School, Class of 1932, then working at The Connecticut Tobacco Growers and The Travelers Ins. Co. before being married in 1938. She was employed by the Town of Manchester for over twenty years working in the Tax Assessor’s Office. She was always proud to say she was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
