MargaretL L Goff, 70 of Morgantown, formerly of Newburg, passed away Friday October 22, 2010 at Monongalia General Hospital with her family by her side. She was born March 4, 1940 in Newburg, daughter of the late Roscoe and Eva Johnson Barker. Margaret was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her friends and neighbors and her cat Nora. Margaret did In home care for the elderly for many years. She was a LifeTime member of the Newburg United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Bill Goff of Newburg, two son, Lewis Goff and wife Anita, Newburg, Eugene Goff and wife Melanie, Independence; two daughter, Carol Conneway and husband Russell, Capon Bridge, Julie Goff and Jay Mason, Masontown; four grandchildren, Tony Goff and wife Joyce, and Tiffany Goff all of Newburg, Lindsay Conneway and Renee Conneway of Capon Bridge; four brother, Paul Barker, Jerry Barker, Charles “Buddy” Barker and Roy “Sonny” Barker and wife Lulabelle all of Newburg; six sister, Barbara Mitter, Newburg, Linda Dean and husband Ed, Rowlesburg, Patty Stemple, Tunnelton, Genevieve Stemple and husband Bill, Alexandra Va, Bonnie Wiles, Morgantown, and Betty Felicia, Sandusky, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by two sister, Mary McGinnis, Shirley Eagle; and a son-in-law, David Stemple.
