Margaret Josephine Yates Hix, 93, of Ringgold, GA went home to be with the Lord, Monday, January 23, 2017.
She was born in Atlanta Georgia a daughter of the late Charles Benjamin and Vera Rebecca Gaines Yates. Margaret attended West Georgia College and Agnes Scott College where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in education.
Mrs. Yates was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and had taught in the Catoosa County School System for 15years.
She had served as a volunteer in the healthcare industry showing love and compassion to those in her care while living in Greenwood SC
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Julian Hix.
